Description: The chat topic tonight was a continuation of the SF author week as we spotlighted noted SF author, C. J. Cherryh. During the chat we discussed her books and her style. Some of the books that we touched on were RIMRUNNERS, HEAVYTIME, HELLBURNER, VOYAGER IN NIGHT, her CHANUR series and many more. One member pointed out that Cherryh's SF writing was compared to the works of Ben Bova as far as in the hard SF writing style. During the chat we also touched a little on the movie that was on tonight about meteors crashing into the earth. From there we touched on Larry Niven and his book FOOTFALL since there was a slight similarity. We eventually moved back to Cherryh and her works. There were good titles brought out that will help add to ones reading list. A fun time for everyone.
